Antique Oak Purdonium

These were popular during the late 1800s to early 1900s. Popular during the Late Victorian and Edwardian eras. These cabinets stood next to a fireplace. The front bin allowed easy access to coal, kindling or logs and kept them neatly out of sight.

Made of oak with a classic drop-down front bin, decorative period brass hardware and elegant cabriole legs. The inside metal liner is missing.

Today, collectors highly prize these for historical charm, repurposing them as unique side tables, bedside nightstands, or vintage storage bins.

Measures 16-1/2" wide x 14" deep x 29" tall.
