Our Story

Vogel & Thomas, est. 2018, is a family owned and operated general merchandise store located on historic main street, Corning, IA. Our store is a work in progress as we strive towards our goal to create a trip down memory lane. 

While shopping at Vogel & Thomas Mercantile, you'll find hardware, paint, electrical, plumbing, gifts, primitives, collectibles and unique one-of-a-kind finds amongst the rustic pieces and old wooden floors. 

Our online store offers an entirely different and unique shopping experience compared to our physical store. Online, our customers can find exclusive "online only" deals on our overstock items, seasonal products and one-of-a-kind finds.

We believe in good, old-fashioned friendly customer service. We value and appreciate all of our customers and work very hard to earn your business. Our goal is to make you a happy customer in hope that you will tell others about us!

If you're ever in town, we would love for you to stop by and say hi! We're located at 702 Davis Ave., Corning, IA. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 8 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday 8 am - 3 pm. Our online store is open 24 hours a day!
